Thanks for the kind words Will.

Lawyers have really taken to blogs, especially when comes in turnkey solution that empowers them to blog. They've found it an excellent way to enhance their reputations in niche areas of the law and to network. Results in getting work by word of mouth, something lawyers unfamiliar with marketing do understand.

If you ever have a client or two, law firm or otherwise, that you think blogging may benefit, drop me an email. We're in the process of getting contract for accounting form in the UK.

You're absolutely right - although sceptical about many forms of marketing, the professionals I've met (accountants, lawyers etc) all recognise the importance of word of mouth. So I guess it's all about presenting the blogging opportunity in that context using a language and frame of reference that they understand and believe in.
