'Wisdom of crowds' Recruitment website Zubka investment

From Vecosys (the European start up / ex-Techcrunch Uk blog, which I am enjoying):

"Zubka has now confirmed our earlier story last month that it has secured an unspecified “multi-million pound” cash injection from Benchmark Capital Europe, also a backer of eBay, Betfair and Bebo. Our story put it at somewhere between £2-4m. Zubka, a UK-based start-up, acts as a recruitment agency through which users recommend people from their own network for specific jobs. Zubka then takes a cut of the recruitment fee."

What I find interesting about this is not the investment, but the business model, which is simple - and I think - powerful. I get rewarded for matching people in my network to jobs advertised on the website/network.
